Cheshire and Merseyside Provider Collaborative (CMPC)

CMPC

Cheshire and Merseyside Provider Collaborative (CMPC) is made up of all 15 NHS provider trusts across Cheshire and Merseyside, working together to provide better healthcare for patients.

CMPC trusts provide a range of health and care services, including acute, specialist, community and mental health, with several specialist areas such as paediatrics, neurology, cancer, cardio-thoracic and women’s.

Working alongside Cheshire and Merseyside’s Integrated Care Board (ICB), the CMPC addresses the challenges currently facing NHS trusts, which cannot be solved by any one organisation alone.

Collectively, it is committed to providing the highest quality healthcare that will meet patients’ changing needs, by:

  • Creating a stronger connection between in-hospital and out-of-hospital services
  • Moving healthcare closer to home and into the community
  • Strengthening services
  • Reducing waiting lists
  • Ensuring equal, high-quality healthcare for all
  • Easing NHS workforce pressures
  • Using NHS resources better
  • Using new technologies to work more efficiently

All of this is in line with the Government’s Medium-Term and 10 Year Health Plans.

Together, CMPC trusts are shaping an NHS that delivers at its best now and into the future, for all patients across Cheshire and Merseyside.
