CMPC Provider Strategy
In August and September 2025, Cheshire and Merseyside Provider Collaborative’s trusts developed the CMPC Provider Strategy.
Fundamental to the CMPC’s plan for the next three years, this is a shared strategic framework that collectively addresses the challenges facing all NHS trusts, now and in the future:
- Improving outcomes for patients
- Clinical fragility
- Workforce pressures
- Unwarranted variation
- Long-term financial sustainability
It sets out how Cheshire and Merseyside’s NHS provider organisations can align to work at scale, flexibly and over time to strengthen services, reduce fragility and support neighbourhood-based care. All of which will result in better, more equal healthcare for patients.
