A new children’s cancer service has been launched for Merseyside and Cheshire, taking chemotherapy to patients’ homes, through funding from the Cancer Alliance. The North West Children’s Cancer Operational Delivery Network (ODN) and Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust have launched the new model of children’s cancer treatment, bringing chemotherapy and other care directly into the homes of patients.
