Cheshire and Merseyside VCFSE Alliance
The Cheshire and Merseyside VCFSE Alliance is a strategic partnership representing the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector across the region, supported by Voluntary Sector North West (VSNW).
The alliance is made up of three key forums including the Cheshire and Merseyside VCFSE Health and Care Leaders Group, the Cheshire and Warrington Infrastructure Partnership (CWIP), and the VS6 Partnership in the Liverpool City Region.
Working closely with NHS partners, local authorities and other statutory organisations, the alliance helps ensure the VCFSE sector can play its fullest role in the health and care system. It provides a collective voice for the sector, supports collaboration across places and neighbourhoods, and influences decision-making to improve health and wellbeing and reduce inequalities for communities across Cheshire and Merseyside.
This work is supported through the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside-funded Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Transformation Programme. The programme is focused on enhancing the health and wellbeing of communities across the region and increasing the representation and influence of the VCFSE sector within the integrated care system. It works through the VCFSE Health and Care Leaders Group and the wider VCFSE Alliance to help the sector achieve more together by acting with one voice.
More information about the alliance and its work can be found on the VSNW website.
