  • DistrACT | Waiting Room | An app providing easy, discreet access to self-harm and suicide prevention information, including a dedicated “chill zone” for relaxation.
  • Calm Harm App | Stem4 | Free app to help young people manage or resist the urge to self-harm.
  • Kooth | An emotional wellbeing app with coping strategies, playlists, mindfulness exercises and chat support. Available in Sefton, Liverpool, Halton, Warrington and St Helens.

  • SIFT | Call 0808 800 8088 or text 07537 432 444 (Monday to Friday, 6pm-9pm) | tess@sift.org.uk | Free. Confidential support for anyone affected by self-harm.
  • Bazaar | Open Door Charity | A free Cheshire and Merseyside support programme for those aged 14-35 dealing with low mood, anxiety or panic attacks. (Note: Bazaar may not be able to accept referrals from those with active suicidal intent – check criteria here.)
  • OOMOO | Open Door Charity | A free Wirral mental health service for children and young people aged 10-18 who are looked after or have a special guardianship order.
