Pharmacies holding stock of palliative care medicines
On 1 April 2026, a new service was introduced by NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (ICB) to maintain essential palliative care medicines across Cheshire and Merseyside.
The medicines stock list below applies to all participating sites. This standardised approach has been developed collaboratively with the local palliative care network to reduce unwarranted variation.
